Description
Handmade in 950 silver, by our friends and artisan partners, Hilda Cachi and Gregorio Cachi in Cusco. As with all the work of the Cachi family, this is a traditional design using traditional methods.
A traditional Colonial style Cuchara style tupo, this design incorporates pre-Columbian symbolism.
Large spoon displays the face of the god of the water, flanked by 2 fish and a frog.
2 Dangles are of chain, handmade in the Cachi studio with spondylus and charms.
Tupos are a form of “stick pin”, a large stick pin, meant to be used with shawls, scarves, blankets.
