Description
This ceramic bowl was beautifully and lovingly made by the hands of the maestro Alberto Seguro in Nasca, Peru.
Sr. Seguro makes his own clay from elements he finds in the desert, then painstakingly forms his pots using small hand rolled coils. Natural pigments are used to decorate, ground with a mortar and pestle then the piece is burnished by hand. Fired once in a wood kiln.
The bowl is a reproduction based on designs from the ancient Nasca culture.
